Hi there! I’m Zulhaziq (Haziq), a physiotherapist with five years of experience in public healthcare at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. Working in a tertiary hospital setting sharpened my clinical reasoning, strengthened my foundation in evidence-based practice, and allowed me to manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions across different populations.

My journey into physiotherapy began long before university. I have been active since childhood, especially in basketball, a sport I have played since I was 10 years old. Growing up, I experienced injuries and physical setbacks but did not always have access to proper rehabilitation to help me return to performance confidently. That experience sparked my interest in understanding the body better, not just to recover, but to perform optimally.

Although I have not competed in basketball since 2019, my love for the game remains strong. I still enjoy playing and watching the sport, and I hope to use my clinical expertise to support fellow hoopers in staying injury-free, returning stronger, and performing with confidence. Because of my own injury history, I have developed a strong clinical interest in knee, ankle and foot conditions. I definitely understand first-hand how frustrating it can be with these lower limb injuries and how crucial it is to feel supported through the recovery process.

As I step into private practice, I strive to ensure my sessions are collaborative, empowering, and performance-driven. I strongly believe that rehabilitation works best when patients feel heard, are challenged appropriately, and supported in becoming stronger than before, not just symptom-free, but resilient.

I chased perfection, knowing I’d never reach it. Because in the pursuit, I became unstoppable.

Now, to share a little bit about me! I have a deep love for coffee, both making it and drinking it. It is something that allows me to slow down, be creative and enjoy life! Most importantly, I value time with my family. Being a husband and father keeps me grounded and constantly reminds me why health, movement, and longevity matter, not just for performance, but for life.
